Check, check. Is there anybody out there?

When I went to type the web address of my blog into my browser tonight, it didn't come up in my recent searches. For once, I actually had to type the full address instead of just scrolling down and selecting. I have been a reticent blogger and I know it. 

A combination of exhaustion both physically and with all things baking related along with a feeling that I'm not really sure where this blog is going left me feeling pretty uninspired. 

But tonight, through various other blogs I read, I found a really sweet website I wanted to share. It's A Vintage Poster and they have really cute prints that have a really nice simple, vintage feel. I'm sort of still developing my vintage aesthetic, which is something I've always been drawn to but sometimes have a hard time putting into practice. Sometimes it's just easier to put on jeans and a turtleneck. Or, now that I'm living in Manhattan, all black.

So to spruce up our (very black and white) kitchen, I ordered the whisk and egg beater posters in blue and yellow. I like that they're simple enough that they will likely fit in anywhere, and I had to seriously restrain myself from not ordering about 5 more.
